Kathmandu Eco Hotel

Amazing hotel with great wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and laundry services. On my first stay, the staff helped with restaurant recommendations, which I still remember. Highly recommend for a comfortable stay. I'm coming back for Christmas!

The rooms were all airy and practical with good hot shower, air conditioning, as for instance. The breakfast was exceptionally good and tasty during our stay. The location was magnificent, not too far away from a neo classical historical garden.

Location is very good. Staffs are very friendly. The breakfast is ok. 24 hours hot water shower(you have to turn on the tap for 3~5 minutes before using) The water flow is not strong enough, but 24 hours hot water shower is precious in Kathmandu.

Wifi is weak in some rooms. Locations in google map and Booked.net map are wrong. It is better to ask them for picking up you from airport.

Very friendly and helpful staff, they help you with anything you need like booking a trekking or parcel service. The trekking tour booked in the hotel was also fantastic, i can just recommend you to book it there (a family member was our very nice guide). The hotel is clean and comfortable and is located in a more quiet part of Thamel. The stay in this hotel was very familiar, hopefully i can come back one day!

I stayed for three nights in a Standard Double or Twin Room, and it was a great experience! The breakfast was delicious and nutritious, and I loved the unique painted ceiling in my room. The staff was always ready to help. I highly recommend it 😊

Did not see an elevator, so might be an issue for someone who cannot handle stairs.

The rooftop terrace offered fine views of the city, and the breakfast was well-prepared and delicious. The room showed some signs of age, and the shower head wasn't securely attached, which impacted comfort. This place is great for a short stay, especially if you enjoy local hospitality.

Good intentions, flawed execution

The hospitality was amazing! The staff were attentive and accommodating, addressing all our needs, even arranging transport and medical assistance when a friend fell ill.

The location, while central, can be noisy at night,, impacting sleep quality. After enjoying a lovely dinner, we found breakfast options unexciting.

Really friendly and helpful staff, good location, comfortable beds, free WiFi, rare power cuts (which is common thing in KTM)... Overall impression-descent and nice 3 star hotel, good value for money
